Artist Statement

The process of recreating a life-sized water fountain challenged my knowledge and abilities to create an accurate three-dimensional piece using a planar material: cardboard. By visiting the reference fountain, I was able to begin the process with specific measurements and a detailed plan of action. Strenuous devotion to specifications was the reason for the success of this replica.
